KH and KN Series AC Non-Synchronous Motor High or Normal Slip, AC Non-Synchronous:
KH and KN Series

KH Series (high slip) and KN Series (normal slip) non-synchronous motors are direct replacements for other motors of this type. Both provide a NEMA 2-11 mounting, permanent lubrication, "Heli-Spur" gearing (see KS Series), and reversible (capacitor furnished with 115V, 60Hz models). All miotors are designed for continuous duty.
KH Series motors ar usually employed where high starting torque, rapid reversal and/or dynamic braking is required.

KN Series motors have much greater output torque than synchronous motors, maintain relatively uniform seppd but do not have synchronous timing characteristics. Motors listed are 115 VAC at 60 Hz and require a capacitor.
