Enclosure for Emergency Stop Pushbutton
The bright yellow enclosure is sealed to NEMA 4 &: 13 and IP 65. It is particularly useful for surface mounting Series 61 emergency stop pushbuttons. Enclosure dimensions are: 65 x 65 x 57 mm (2.56 x 2.56 x 2.25 inches). A cable feed-thru seal is available.

* Convertible Actuator
There is a choice of three pushbutton actuators: momentary, maintained, and convertible. Convertible actuators may be changed from momentary to maintained action, as shown below.
Once converted, they can not be changed back.
To convert: Push the metallic part shown with a small screwdriver until it reaches the end of its travel.







Emergency Stop Actuators
Foolproof -- meet new EN 418 directive
Emergency stop switches are operated by simply pushing on the front cap to immediately break the circuit. They then may be released to reactivate the circuit by turning the front cap clockwise by hand. EAO emergency stop switches meet the new EN 418 directive for "foolproof" operation. They prevent teasing the actuator which could result in premature or unreliable operation and eliminate blocking the actuator operation with foreign objects.

Series 61 Flush Mounting Pushbuttons & Indicators
New universal actuators and flush mounting adapters simplify assembling and ordering flush panel mounted pushbuttons and indicators.

Simply select the universal actuator from among the three pushbutton types: momentary, maintained, and convertible (convertible can be changed from momentary to maintained). Or choose a complete indicator or an indicator sleeve (requires addition of an indicator or flasher element).

Then combine the selected actuator with one of the flush mount adapters depending on front appearance (square, rectangular, or round; material; and color).
Finish off the assembly by selecting a flush mount lens from the next page, a lamp (if required), and a contact block.

To prevent pushbutton or rotary switch rotation, punching tool (Part no. 51-999) porduces an anti-rotation projection in the mounting hole. Anit-rotation locking washer (Part no 51-910) also is available.
