Series 51 keylocks are supplied with an anti-rotation locking washer which allows the switch to be mounted in round drilled holes. The anti-rotation washer prevents rotation when properly tightened.

Keylock Types
There is a choice of two keylock mechanisms: the standard five tumbler (D) or the eight tumbler high security (K). Adding the appropriate suffix letter to the part number defines the lock type. If no suffix number is indicated, they keylock switch will be supplied with the standard D-type lock. Two keys are supplied with each keylock.


Suffix Lock Description
D Standard Five tumbler lock mechanism with cut key. Key code 311 is the standard stocking item. There are 134 other key codes available on request and a master key is available.

K High
Security		 Eight tumbler lock mechanism uses a flat key. Two-position keylocks use key code 1001 as a standard stocking item. An additional 690 key codes may be requested, and a master key is available. Three-position keylocks use key code 4001 as a standard stocking item. There are an additional 311 key codes available on request.No master key is available.

Leg A-B controls "off-On." Leg A-C controls
the momentary "Reset" without affecting the
A-B circuit. Design is similar to a car
ignition/start switch; the ignition coil remains
on during actuation of the starter.
